Urgent sync is honor-system only: while waiting, it moves you to next in line (#2) ahead of others. Use it for a real team blocker, not convenience. One use per turn in line — abuse hurts everyone.
Nudge sends an alert sound to whoever holds the sync slot (if their page is open). Use it when the 10-minute timer is running but they look AFK. Short cooldown between nudges.
